Chief Minister Hemant Soren mentioned the district administration is engaged on an emergency foundation and the injured are being handled.
“The demise of individuals because of the fireplace in Dhanbad is extraordinarily heart-wrenching. The district administration is engaged on a battle footing and remedy is being offered to the injured. I’m personally monitoring it,” Mr Soren mentioned in a Hindi tweet.

Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar mentioned eight or 10 folks have been rescued. They’ve sustained critical burns, he mentioned.
“The injured are being despatched to the Medical Faculty. The rescue work is over. However now we have not taken a correct headcount but. This can be performed collectively by the police and the hearth division personnel,” he added.
“Our instant focus was to get the folks out. Now we’re doing a remaining combing of the world to make sure that nobody is left behind,” he added.
Mr Singh, who’s monitoring the rescue operation together with senior cops, mentioned it’s also not clear how the hearth began. “The locals mentioned there was some puja in progress, however all this must be confirmed,” he mentioned.
