Have to know whether or not knowledge on exterior storage resembling USB drive is as secure as (or, as sandboxed as) knowledge on inner storage in iPadOS.

That is my understanding of the file entry persmission system of iPadOS:

1.Constructed-in apps by Apple can entry any consumer knowledge(e.g. footage and different knowledge information) on the interior storage.

2.third occasion apps can’t entry knowledge on inner storage, aside from knowledge within the knowledge folder of the App. To entry knowledge exterior the information folder, the app have to carry out the system information picker window and the consumer choose some knowledge within the window, after that, the system will enable the app to entry precisely these knowledge.

Is my understanding proper? Does iPasOS have the identical file entry permission system for knowledge exterior storage?
