The Delhi girl whose physique was present in a fridge at a roadside restaurant on Tuesday was strangled with an information cable by her live-in boyfriend, police sources mentioned at the moment.

Sahil Gehlot, 24, has been arrested for allegedly murdering his girlfriend and making an attempt to cover it, in an incident much like the Shraddha Walkar homicide case. He allegedly killed Nikki Yadav, 23, after an argument and determined to stuff her physique within the fridge on the dhaba owned by his household.

When Nikki Yadav went lacking, the police tracked down Sahil. Nikki’s neighbour had reported her lacking; her household again in Haryana’s Jhajjar did not know the place she was.

Nikki and Sahil met whereas making ready for medical entrance exams and have been in a live-in relationship for years, the police mentioned.

Her father, Sunil Yadav, has demanded dying penalty for Sahil.

The incident has an eerie similarity with the Shraddha Walkar homicide case in Delhi final 12 months. Shraddha was allegedly murdered by her live-in accomplice Aaftab Poonawalla, who chopped her physique into a number of items and saved them in a 300-litre fridge earlier than disposing them in a forest space, police had mentioned.
