As many as 35 individuals have been killed after the roof of a stepwell collapsed at a temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Thursday. The stepwell roof on the Beleshwar Mahadev temple couldn’t maintain the load of a giant crowd on Ram Navami. 

“Complete of 35 individuals died, one lacking and 14 individuals have been rescued. Two individuals returned house safely after getting therapy. The search operation to hint individuals reported lacking is underway,” Indore Collector Ilayaraja T stated, as quoted by information company ANI.

“The 18 hours lengthy rescue operation began at round 12:30 on Thursday, and remains to be ongoing,” he added.
