A headmaster in Belfast’s Ardoyne group invokes the knowledge of philosophers to assist youngsters cope with battle.

College headmaster Kevin McArevey is a maverick decided to vary the fortunes of an inner-city group stricken by city decay, sectarian aggression, poverty and medicines.

The all-boys major college in post-conflict Belfast, Northern Eire, turns into a hothouse for pondering and questioning, because the headmaster encourages youngsters to see past the boundaries and limitations of their group, and sends his younger wards house every day armed with the knowledge of the traditional Greek philosophers.
