Silvio Berlusconi, the previous Italian prime minister, is being handled within the intensive care unit of a Milan hospital for a lung an infection associated to a type of leukemia that he has “had for a while,” his private doctor mentioned on Thursday.
A medical bulletin issued by the doctor, Dr. Alberto Zangrillo, mentioned Mr. Berlusconi had persistent myelomonocytic leukemia, which was not acute, and that he was being handled each for the lung an infection and for the blood most cancers.
