Because the title says, I am attempting to compile Litecoin v21 on MacOS Large Certain on an older Mac (2013) however I am failing.
I’ve already utterly reinstalled Homebrew and put in all of the packages I want. (See directions)
Nonetheless, I all the time get the identical error message.
If I attempt it with CXX=/usr/native/bin/g++-12 ./configure the entire thing fails with the message:
checking for libqrencode...sure
checking for libzmq >= 4... no
configure: WARNING: libzmq model 4.x or larger not discovered, disabling
checking for major in -lfmt... no
configure: error: libfmt lacking
I really feel like I’ve to jeopardize my manufacturing PC to get the most recent core model. I even have the identical drawback with Bitcoin Core 24. I am unable to get it to be compiled.
Sadly, I do not understand how I can solely output the errors.
I am a C++ noob.
