Dr. Akira Kakugo and his staff from Hokkaido College in Japan despatched us a video presentation of his latest paper ‘Cooperative cargo transportation by a swarm of molecular machines’, revealed in Science Robotics.

‘Regardless of the developments in macro-scale robots, the event of a lot of small-size robots continues to be difficult, which is essential to reinforce the scalability of swarm robots,’ says Dr. Kakugo. Within the paper, researchers confirmed it’s potential to collectively transport molecular cargo by a swarm of synthetic molecular robots (engineered techniques with organic/molecular sensors, processors and actuators) responding to gentle.
