I usually have say a fullscreen* window of say chrome open, and a secondary one on the left half of my display screen, and wish to take notes in one other app open on the appropriate half of my display screen. However once I tab between them, altering focus from the word taking app again to say chrome, it’ll put all of the chrome home windows on the foreground, blocking my view of the opposite app I’ve open.

Is there any setting to alter this conduct to solely put essentially the most just lately lively window of a given app on the foreground?

(I discovered this associated query, however it’s nearly 10 years outdated and does not have a passable reply for me)

*Not actually fullscreen, simply maximized so it takes up the entire display screen.
