Daimler Truck CFO Eva Scherer Joins Torc Board

Torc is happy to announce that Eva Scherer, Chief Monetary Officer (CFO) of Daimler Truck Holding AG, has joined Torc’s Board of Administrators as of February twenty fourth, 2025. She joins the present board members Karin Rådström, CEO of Daimler Truck, John O’Leary, President and CEO of Daimler TruckNorth America, and Peter Vaughan Schmidt, Torc’s CEO.

“I’m trying ahead to becoming a member of Torc’s Board of Administrators to help the corporate on their journey in the direction of the commercialization of autonomous trucking,” stated Scherer.

Peter Vaughan Schmidt, CEO of Torc, welcomed Scherer to the Board, stating, “Eva’s management comes at an important time as Torc accelerates its growth and commercialization efforts, from strengthening our engineering presence in Ann Arbor to launching a brand new autonomous truck hub in Dallas-Fort Value. We’re proud to have her monetary experience as Daimler Truck’s CFO on Torc’s Board as we transfer towards the commercialization of autonomous trucking in 2027.”

Earlier than turning into CFO of Daimler Truck in April 2024, Scherer held key management roles at Siemens AG, together with Govt Vice President and International Head of Investor Relations. With a background in strategic monetary administration throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Center East, she has led initiatives that drive progress and profitable long-term worth creation.
